I hope
everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I can't believe December is right around
the corner, time flies when you are having fun in first grade! I want to thank
everyone for taking time to meet with me these past few weeks. It was great to
check in, brag on this amazing class, and hear feedback from students and
parents.
I am
excited to share some of the great lessons we have coming us this month!
We are
starting off the month with a Gingerbread unit. This unit integrates literacy,
math, and science. If you have any versions of The Gingerbread Man books we
would love to borrow them. We will be reading several different versions to
focus on comparing and contrasting.
I am also very excited to start a science unit in Room 4!
As you can see, we will be using some fun holiday tradtions to guide our upcoming science unit.
I am very excited for the fun & learning that lies ahead in Room 4 this month! :)
